If you want to optimize an image as much as possible so it should not have any impact on loading time for your viewer. Squoosh App is best for you. This app will allow you to resize and compress images for you. I don’t think YouTube will allow uploading a thumbnail of more than 2 MB. So here comes the Squoosh App. I can’t tell you how useful this thing is.
Gravit Designer
If you haven’t heard of this app, So Gravit Designer is a graphic tool that will help you to focus on vector graphics and it runs in your web browser. You can also download it for macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.
Back then when I was a graphic designer I had to do graphic stuff a lot, I had to build logos, make different graphics for websites, and I didn’t know about Gravit Designer. This is a very useful tool it is easy to use and easy to start up on your Chromebook.
Google photos
The web version of Google Photos is lighter and easy to use. Mainly it’s for auto color correction, so any image you take and upload it to google photos. You can go in and start messing with colors. You can just hit the “Auto Button” and let google make your photo look better.

How to Download Native Chrome OS app
These are the applications that can be run on any Chrome OS device. Many of them can be used in “offline mode” so you don’t need the internet.
How to download native apps for Chromebook OS
You can easily download any native app on Chromebook OS by simply going to “Web Store.” Hitting the download button for any app you like. Let’s say you want to download “Citrix App”
Click on Add to Chrome>Add App>Launch App.
Now if you go back to your menu you can see that you now have an application launcher in here.
How to download Android apps for Chromebook OS
You can download the android app on your Chromebook OS, these are the same apps that run on your phone. The most recent Chromebook OS supports the Android application but you need to turn it on first in the setting.
If you see the “Google Play Store” option it means you can download Android Apps for Chromebook. If you don’t see this, it means your Chromebook is not capable of downloading android apps. So all you need to do is “Turn On” and it will walk you to some questions. When it’s all set up and getting ready to launcher you will see a display just like “Play Store.” Now you can download any app you like.

Most recent Chromebooks allow you to install some apps in Linux. This option also needs to be turned on and if your Chromebook doesn’t have this option then it means you are unable to download Linux Apps on your Chromebook OS.

Once you turned on your Linux option in the setting you need to download Windows Apps for Chromebook OS you need to visit the site CodeWeavers.com and download “CrossOver Chrome OS” this is a paid software but you can use the free trial to download Window Apps.
This will allow you to download some widow apps not all.
